Ultimate Red Eye Removal HD Video Tutorial

Video will automatically run in HD mode. If video playback keep stopping, click on the pause button and allow the video to buffer for a minute before clicking the play button. If problems still persist, clicking on the 'HD' button will resume playback in standard mode. You can view the tutorial in full screen mode by clicking on the button to the right of the 'HD' button.

1.Copy 'Background Layer' (Ctrl-J)
2. Create new blank layer (Shift-Ctrl-N, OK) and rename it 'Pupil'
3. Using 'Elliptical Marquee Tool', drag a selection over the pupils.
4. Fill the selection with black by pressing Shift-F5 and select 'Black' from 'Use' dropdown box.
5. Ctrl-D to deselect the selection.
6. Make the 'Pupil' layer invisible by clicking the eye icon on the pupil layer.
7. Select 'Layer 1' and using the 'Clone Stamp Tool' cover the entire eye with the iris.
8. Turn 'Pupil' layer visibility back on select 'Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur'. Now enter values that look natural.
9. Alter the 'Opacity' of the 'Pupil' layer until it looks natural.
10. Create new blank layer (Shift-Ctrl-N, OK) and rename it 'Catchlight'
11. Using the 'Brush Tool' with white colour selected and a small soft edged brush, click on the eye where you think the light source would reflect off the eye.
12. Alter the 'Opacity' of the 'Catchlight' layer until it looks natural.
